After you save, corrections happen in Results, which Community doesn’t include. On Community, fix what you can before you save. Correct only what your observation record supports.

Fix a mistake during recording

Outside a text field, ⌘Z or Ctrl+Z undoes the latest scoring action. What that removes depends on the method.

Fix a mistake after saving

Open the observation from the student’s Sessions. Results saves each change automatically; reopen the observation afterward to check that it stayed.

Interval methods

In Interval Record, select a student or peer cell and choose Occurred, Did not occur, or Clear score.

Frequency

In Event Record → Timeline, select the mark. Drag it sideways to change its time, or into another row to change the behavior or person. To remove it, select the trash icon next to its time; Undo appears briefly.
Event Record for Alex Example with the Calling out mark at 9:23 selected, showing Calling out, 9:23, and a trash button above it on the Individual occurrences track.

A selected mark shows its behavior, its time, and a trash icon. Shown in demo mode.

Duration

In Duration Record, switch to Table. Open the episode’s row menu and select Edit, change its Start or End time, and select Save. Delete removes an episode and offers Undo. Add episode adds one you missed.

Latency

In Trials, select Edit trial. Choose the response behavior and enter a Trial latency greater than zero, or select No response, then select Save. Delete trial removes a trial and offers Undo.

ABC

In ABC Entries, click an antecedent, behavior, or consequence description to edit it, then press Return or Enter. Click a tag to replace or remove it. Next gap moves to an entry missing a tag.

Anecdotal

Select Edit on the card, then the pencil beside the entry. Change the text, press Return or Enter, and select Done. To add something you remember later, select + Add note under General notes.

Activities

Select Edit beside Activity. Drag a divider to change when an activity started. To change a label, make sure Cut is off, then click the period. Select Add activity for a change you missed, then Save.

After you correct a record

A draft you already wrote does not update when you correct a score or entry. Check any write-up or AI summary against the corrected record before you use it. Sightline doesn’t keep a history of corrections. If a change matters for the record, note what you changed and why in Context. Editing Context doesn’t change the measurements.
